Additional Information-

What to Bring: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Sandals, and a Change of Shorts.

What to Expect: Upon arrival our guides will take you to meet each of the elephants. A brief overview of the Karen Tribe and our traditional practices will be discussed prior to fully interacting with the elephants to ensure each guest understands our customs and how they align with the elephants ethically.

Elephant Riding: Riding the elephants here at Karen Tribe Native Elephant is not for tourist enjoyment. The Karen Tribe has traditionally domesticated elephants for the purpose of agricultural work and transportation. Modern-day elephant riding is solely to exercise the elephants. Our elephants have been with our tribe for the past 8 generations and have grown up with our tribal traditions their entire lives. Your visit will include an optional traditional riding session; a guest can decide to walk alongside the elephant as an alternative.
